The dems are in a frenzy over Ralph Nader's run for the presidency. They claim he handed the 2000 election to Bush, especially in Florida. Nader denies the charge. I don't know if he's used this example, but here's mine: Tennessee. If you look at the numbers from Al Gore's home state, Bush won by 80,299 votes, well beyond the 19,781 votes Nader took in the state. Had Gore carried his home state, he would have won the election. Nader is correct, Gore lost the election on his own.
TENNESSEE
Bush.....1,061,949..... 51.15%
Gore...... 981,720......47.28%
Nader....... 19,781........0.95%
